Tiago eyes English return

Tiago, who is currently at Atletico Madrid, is thought to be a target for a number of Premier League clubs.

The former Portugal international has struggled to hold down a regular place in the Atletico side this season, making just nine appearances.

The news of his possible availability has alerted a number of clubs who are ready to offer the midfielder a second crack in England.

Tiago impressed during his one season at Chelsea, making 52 appearances in all competitions and helping the club win the Premier League title.

The talented midfielder has a wealth of experience having played at two World Cups for Portugal and also played in four of Europe’s top leagues including his native Portugal.

The 30-year-old, who had spells at Lyon and Juventus after leaving Chelsea, is thought to be interested in a move back to England if he was to leave Atletico.
